About Fight My Corner
Built by Machala and Sharon for the moments when holding a company, council or organisation to account feels impossible on your own.
Why we exist
Fight My Corner exists because of three councils, one relentless sister, and the hardest years of our lives.
Machala spent years fighting three local councils. What started as a dispute became a battle that took everything: her time, her energy, and her peace. In the middle of it, she lost her mum. There were points where she was too exhausted to keep going.
Sharon kept going.
When Machala couldn't fight any more, her sister made the calls, kept pursuing it, and kept saying: you're owed this. Don't stop.
Compensation was ultimately obtained from all three councils. But what stayed with Machala was not the win. It was the realisation that not everyone has someone willing to fight beside them when the hold music, automated replies and complaint forms become too much.
Everyone deserves someone in their corner.
Fight My Corner was created from that experience: a practical way to make the next step clearer when you need to raise a complaint, write a letter, or keep moving a dispute forward.
