Time limits and urgency
Many dispute types are subject to strict time limits. In particular:
- →Employment Tribunal claims must be started within 3 months minus 1 day of the relevant act. ACAS Early Conciliation is mandatory before filing a claim.
- →Flight compensation (UK261) is subject to limitation periods. Check the time limit with the airline or ADR scheme.
- →Parking appeals typically must be submitted within 28 days of the charge notice date.
- →Chargeback claims typically have a 120-day window from the transaction date.
