Fight My Corner generates legally grounded letters that cite real UK legislation and the company's own policies — but the outcome of any dispute depends on the recipient's response and is entirely outside Fight My Corner's control. Fight My Corner accepts no liability for outcomes arising from use of the letters generated.
Time limits and urgency
Many dispute types are subject to strict time limits. In particular:
- →Employment Tribunal claims — users MUST contact ACAS before making a tribunal claim. The standard time limit is 3 months less one day from the act complained of. Missing this deadline may bar the claim entirely. ACAS Early Conciliation is mandatory before filing.
- →Financial Ombudsman complaints — generally 6 months from the final response letter from the firm. Check the firm's final response letter for the exact deadline.
- →Flight compensation (UK261) is subject to limitation periods. Check the time limit with the airline or ADR scheme.
- →Parking appeals typically must be submitted within 28 days of the charge notice date.
- →Chargeback claims typically have a 120-day window from the transaction date.
